Normalene Stop Gas® is useful for the treatment of aerophagia and intestinal meteorism.
Normalene Stop Gas® is indicated in the treatment of symptoms related to bloating of the stomach (aerophagia) and intestines (meteorism) due to the accumulation of gas.
It alleviates cramping and pain related to this problem and prevents flatulence and belching.
The action of the product is due to the antifoaming action of simethicone, combined with the adsorptive action of charcoal on intestinal gas. The bistrate conformation of the tablet allows about 50 percent of the ingredients to be released in the gastric environment within 15 minutes after intake, while complete disintegration of the tablet occurs in the intestinal environment within one hour.
The components are not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and do not interfere with nutrient absorption.
It is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets of Normalene Stop Gas® in adults at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day.
Instead, in children from 14 years of age to 18 years of age take 1 tablet at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 2 tablets per day.
Do not use the product before 14 years of age.
Keep out of the reach of children. do not use in the presence of gastric or intestinal injury.
Do not use in cases of intestinal blockage. If pregnant or lactating, take Normalene Stop Gas® only as needed or after consulting your doctor. For periods longer than 30 days of use, it is recommended that treatment be discontinued for at least 3-5 days.
